All Pupils in St. John of God School, Islandbridge are entitled to transport to and from school each day. This service is funded by the Department of Education and Science and administered by Bus Éireann. Bus Éireann has sub-contracted bus operators to operate each bus run.
Bus Escorts, employed by the School and funded by the Department of Education and Science, are responsible for the pupil's safety while on the bus.
Any questions regarding a pupil's transport should be directed to the Manager of School Transport in Éireann. Any issues regarding your son/daughter's bus should be directed to the bus driver/ contractor.
Any queries regarding Bus Escorts should be directed to Acting Deputy Principal Karen Lambe. If you would like to become a Bus Escort, Garda Vetting is essential. Please ask Karen for details.
