New Year New Principal

The Board of Management are delighted to announce that Marie Ryan has been appointed Principal of St. John of God School. Marie has taught at our school for many years and has worked as Acting Principal since September 2017. We look forward to Marie leading the school as she builds on the great work of her predecessors.

Christmas Concert

Thank you to so many parents who came to see the Christmas Concert in December and stayed for a cuppa and a chat afterwards.  It was such a lovely morning and it showed so many pupils working together to show off their performance skills! We love to see their confidence grow - while they are enjoying themselves!

Bus Escorts

Bus Escorts

From time to time our bus escorts miss a day and sub cover is needed.

Could you help?

If there is no escort to accompany the students, then the bus service can’t run!

Parents who are interested in Getting Garda Vetted please contact Karen Lambe

It could be just an afternoon or a morning but you might save the day!!

Flu Alert!

As per HSE advice please do not send your child to school if they have flu symptoms.

Thank You… We are lucky to have so many friends!

Santa and Friends!

I’m sure you all noticed the lovely presents Santa gave to your son/daughter when he visited our school on 20th December. Santa and his friends came from a company called Openet. We are very lucky to have such nice friends! We are so pleased Openet have continued to surprise our students again with their kindness and generosity.

Inchicore College!

Linda Higgins, our Dance teacher also teaches Dance Theatre Studies in Inchicore College. She arranged that the Dance Theatre Students perform their Panto for the whole school on the week of the holidays. It was composed and performed entirely by the students. It was a huge hit with all our pupils and enjoyed by everyone!

Basement Productions!

This Drama Group very kindly volunteered to put on their Panto: Cinderella on Friday 19 January. It was a very traditional Panto and thoroughly enjoyed by all…. Oh yes it was!!! Just like every other thing we are thankful for!
